Eligibility Criteria Under PMAY 

The applicant must meet the following income requirements to be eligible for the Credit Linked Subsidy Scheme (CLSS) under PMAY 2021–2022, which offers an interest subsidy on home loans.

Regarding the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and Lower Income Group (LIG)

• The husband, wife, unmarried daughters, and unmarried sons might make up the entire family.
• The household’s annual income cannot exceed Rs 3 lakh (for LIG) or Rs 5 lakh (for MIG).
• The maximum amount of the subsidy is Rs 6 lakh. Following this threshold, standard interest rates for house loans will be applicable.

For Groups I and II of Middle Income
